About Us

Avocado toast with poached eggs and microgreens served with cold brew coffee at Nía Bakery artisan café in Cartagena
Our approach to our social commitment takes a number of forms.

First, we seek out other organizations who share our values. They include: Disidente our chocolate makers.

Second, we strive to source the vast majority of our ingredients from Colombia’s directly from the farmers with an emphasis on post-conflict communities.

Third, we are actively engaging in projects that let us use the bakery to help those communities create their own businesses by sustainably harvesting the local ingredients around them.

Finally we want to hear from you. If you are a socially focussed business that sees an opportunity to work with us, come say hi. If you are working with poor communities and see a way for us to combine forces, come say hi.
