Come join us on a unique fruit-tasting journey exploring the rich diversity of Colombian fruits.
the tasting
Led by Nia’s sous chef you will enjoy 10 different fruits chosen for their exotic flavors and the growing season. We will explore fruits from across Colombia that are so uncommon they are new to Colombians as well! These may include: Canistel, piñuela, mabolo, limón Cherry, poma rosa, bledo de chupa, la Mariangola, among others, while delving into the origins of these fruits and understanding their cultivation methods, and the rural communities that grow and consume them.
Transformation
You will have the opportunity to taste the fruit in its original form then experience its transformation into exquisite creams, salts, sugars, dehydrated or freeze-dried forms.
Nia is famous for its celebration of Colombia’s hidden fruits. And many of our products include them. You will have the opportunity to taste our pastries, cookies, cakes, ice creams and smoothies that include the fruits you tasted. You will be able to taste the different flavors and textures the fruits acquire as they are incorporated into our products.
Cocktails
Nia goes further though. In the evenings we serve cocktails. You will also have the unique opportunity to try cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, crafted with the same fruits you have previously tasted, thus expanding your sensory experience.
